Washington, D.C. (December 22, 2010) —
In January and February, the American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE) visits cities in Idaho, Missouri, South Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania for free, live information sessions about its online teaching certification program.
Information sessions will include a 45 minute to one hour-long introduction to the program and offer an opportunity to have questions answered in-person by members of the ABCTE staff. The ABCTE certification is accepted by public schools in ten states and the organization has issued nearly 3,000 certifications.

About ABCTE The American Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence (ABCTE) is a non-profit organization offering an innovative teacher preparation and certification program for highly knowledgeable individuals who want to become teachers. The program is accepted in ten states and close to 3,000 ABCTE certifications have now been issued.
